when I moved to Jersey I was EXCITED for some real cheese steaks... I googled and googled and learned that pats and ginos were supposed to be the best of the best and the original creators of the sandwich fighting it out to claim it as their own creation... I was even MORE excited then before... what I experienced was hot fucking garbage. 1 shit location for tourism when there is no fucking parking anywhere. 2 the meat was dried out and chewy. 3 their menu was extremely limited yet everything there was canned or premade in a bag. cheese wiz, canned mushrooms, frozen veggies from bags... nothing there is made fresh at all. the bread (for me - I have TMJ) was nearly inedible It was so damn stale and hard I almost popped my jaw trying to eat it. and 4 the service was rude af, rushing everyone around like the customers are more of an inconvenience rather than a guest they want to come back. and 5 for all that bullshit the prices they charge is fucking insane!! 0/100 would NOT recommend it either.
