Omg so many rugs are “washable” now aka just super thin and they do this when you vacuum . I won’t even buy a rug online anymore bc I need to know it’s thick enough to not do this. Its so much less hygienic to have these rugs bc you can’t vacuum them properly

I have Amazon knockoffs that can go in the washing machine and they don’t do that thankfully. Thank you for de-influencing me bc huggable has such cute ones😅

I know it’s expensive but I got a Dyson that has a low power “eco” mode and then the roller brush can have lower or higher suction on top of that. So I reduce the suction and I’m finally able to vacuum them!

As a maid…. HEAVY ON THE VACUUM AND FURNITURE because those wrinkles? My vacuum either twerks over it or sucks it up and then my rollers get caught and it stops ((possibly killing my vacuum in the long run)) and the edges?? UGH suck up every time. Even if you are going away from the corner. And every washable rug, or whatever it is, creases when you put anything on it. They aren’t good for much more than looking at and washing.

Don’t get a washable rug period unless it’s small and even then it’s basically like standing on the hard floor anyways so it’s pointless !
