This is the EXACT problem with american healthcare. There is no communication between providers, hospitals, and other medical professionals. You MIGHT get lucky if everything is in house (Johns Hopkins for example) but if it's different medical systems? Forget it. They just pass the buck and move on.

Said what i said :
The American health care system is trash, it almost feels like they want to make people go crazy instead of helping them

400mg a day?!!! When she is already disassociating, can't sleep and is having suicidal and homicidal thoughts?! The wrong person is on trial in so many ways here

Honestly you asked where you should go from here, just continue on. Imo recaps like this which tell the facts as presented in the trial for those who might not have the time to dedicate to watching the entire thing themselves, while also humanizing the facts is both reasonable, critical, and considerate. I personally appreciate it

I am by no means an expert on any of this stuff, but I thought there was a two-week timeline required when introducing new medication into someone's life. like, you have to take a medication for two weeks before it is considered "working fully". again, I have no credentials other than my own history with prescriptions.

it takes 4 weeks for zoloft to even work so why would they up her dose to 50mg in ONE week. 😢

When they said she ran on the day of giving birth and then was getting up at 4am to run then take an exercise class etc but the experts didn’t think that was excessive?

I'm in shock with the neglect of Lindsey by all these drs. They all deserve to lose their licenses and I hope she wins the lawsuit against them all. This is insane and that poor woman had no hope of getting help from these incompetent people

hindsight is 20/20 but as a person who has been taking psych meds for 3 years i think she never gave any medication time to work. she blamed medication for her symptoms that were actually of mental illness and would've continued to worsen without the meds anyway. i think she needed to be hospitalised at least for a month to find the right medication for her, get stabilised and used to it. so many doctors had the chance to prevent what happened and none did
