I have a coworker who had cake smashed in her face after specifically having that discussion with her fiancé about not doing it. She stabbed him with a fork. They stayed married around three years.

We got married at a crawfish boil on a lake by the Justice of the Peace. I bought her ring for $1k after I haggled him down. I helped with the few decorations we had and we had a blast. Feeding each other cake is a ceremony that is your first act together as a married couple and putting the other person's needs before yours. You grab a piece of cake and give it to your spouse instead of eating it yourself. when couples smash it in their face, the first act in the marriage is humiliating and attacking their spouse.. Karma does not like that
