Sometimes ChatGPT will straight up lie, pretend it cant do things, will blatantly lie about capabilities that are BUILT IN FEATURES available to the public. It will argue with you about being able to do something until you catch it in their lie with solid evidence then suddenly be like "my bad, you were right i was confused".... you werent so confused you couldnt spend 10 turns building a false narrative about what you could or couldnt do with fake evidence... So ya, adds up.
