I have high functioning autism and mild ADHD. Some days I do not like getting out of bed. Other days I do. When I don’t like going to school I bring my needoh and use it for the entire school day or I doodle on my work sheets. Still, I don’t think you should blame requirements on ableism and classism

everyone in this comment section who is making fun of this person is literally just fucking privileged and doesn't have to deal with this. as someone with a manageable chronic illness, when i have flareups i physically cannot go to school. teachers with berate you for missing school and if you miss it enough you can get involved with truancy court. it's not wrong to say that the way school sets up and requires attendance as strict as some do without flexibility is ableist. yall are just privileged enough to never be in that situation.
