@shehvxnnk: I spend so much time re‑watching every piece of video we have left of my dog. Footage from our home surveillance, clips from our bedroom, and recordings from our devastating goodbye appointment at the vet. When each of these moments took place, I still believed we had more time ahead of us. I did not fully grasp that untreated tartar on his teeth was releasing bacteria into his blood and slowly destroying his kidneys. He kept up appearances for as long as he possibly could: trying to eat his food, meeting my eyes, and reaching out to soothe my crying with his paw. There were no loud, obvious red flags to push me into action early enough. Dogs do not show pain the way humans do, and that reality caught me off‑guard. This grief will stay with me forever. My greatest wish is that other dog owners will hear my warning. Do not dismiss tartar and bad breath as trivial cosmetic issues. Your dog’s oral health directly impacts their whole‑body survival. Cherish every moment you are gifted with them. #PetLossStory #DogTartarWarning #KidneyFailureInDogs #RainbowBridgePet #PetDentalCare #PetHealthAwareness
