Even now it's obvious so much of the "economic growth" depends on paying workers as little as possible. How would free labor not be the cornerstone of this country being what it is today?

Somebody on here said that Slavery was only 2% of the population back then 😒 America in general had a small population. I’m an Ethnic Studies major, I can go and on about this subject. People need to read more.

Sound familiar? Because we’re judged by this every day in our current workplaces. Being able to control these elements and maximize them is what made America wealthy. So I don’t allow anyone to tell me that slavery is something that happened in our past. Quite frankly we’re ALL still living some form of it. We just get paid.
