@faith_comethbyhearing: As I meditated on this verse, it made me think about some of the unpleasant things I have done in my life. Yet, the Lord did not give me over to death. He preserved me. He disciplined me, and His discipline was meant to redirect me and bring me back to Him. God’s discipline is rooted in love. It reminds me of Proverbs 3:12: “For whom the Lord loves He corrects, Just as a father the son in whom he delights.” So, whatever discipline the Lord may be allowing you to experience today, or whatever you may be going through, remember that He loves you. His correction is not meant to destroy you; it is meant to redirect you. Perhaps your focus has been on something different from what God has purposed for your life. Perhaps He is using this season to bring your attention back to Him and to the purpose He has placed before you. Be encouraged today, stay blessed and remember, God loves you
