Bigg_Dray_49 :
If they let drivers just drive how they want they won’t be tired if we could drive and pull over when we wanted to things would be a lot better we get time limits on when we can drive but no one thinks about how many hours are wasted at shippers and receivers

2 things need to happen. They need to fix the problem with offshoring logistics jobs someone who lives in another country shouldn’t be able to control trucks in America. Also they need to update ELDs to reflect loading/unloading time that shouldn’t count against your drive time.

Life outside the house :
If truckers were allowed to drive when they want instead of forcing them to drive by log book then you will have less tired and sleepy drivers on the road

Why nobody is talking about how cheap freight is, how expensive diesel is? Oh no that doesn’t matter instead they’re now focusing on eld 🙄

So politicians don't face consequences when it comes to inside trading and walking away with millions. They go in as average Americans and come out as millionaires.

Well. United States trucking companies need to start paying more money. Why be OTR for $1,200-$1,400 a week?

And they still need to do more checks on Canadian and Mexican trucks, many of which keep working inside the U.S. for weeks at a time...

Jacksonville FL is full with ELD from Serbia. 80% companies have those ELD.

But why is the driver’s fault? If we are driving for a company you should suit the company not a driver

I LOVE MY ELD 👍🏼 They just need to regulate the 14-hour rule so the clock doesn't keep running; sometimes it runs out and we only end up driving for about four hours because we have so many stops.😏

I agree with everything you say, but what about the drivers who wait hours to unload and don't get paid for it? They set off already agitated, and then, due to the stress, they get into an accident—who is to blame then?😎😎😎
