@vaultdiscgolf: If every throw uses a different disc, line, and target, you can’t tell what actually improved. The session may feel productive because you threw a lot of shots—but volume and useful feedback are not the same thing. Random practice makes it difficult to separate an actual improvement from one good throw. Try this nine-shot landing-zone game: Choose one disc. Choose one shot shape. Mark one realistic landing zone. Throw one shot, then step away and restart your entire routine. Repeat that process nine times. Score each throw: Two points for landing inside the target. One point for a playable miss. Zero points for a miss that would cost you a recovery shot. Don’t change your mechanics halfway through the game. Finish all nine attempts, review the pattern, and choose one adjustment for the next session. That gives you evidence you can compare instead of nine unrelated throws and nine different explanations. Vault Files 2.0 turns practice into a measurable progression so you know what you’re training, why you’re training it, and whether it’s transferring to the course. Comment VAULT if you want to replace random repetitions with a practice plan you can measure. #discgolf #discgolftraining

Jimmy :
I think there’s no reason to throw more than 11 discs. 1 stable distance, 1 flippy distance (that you know well), 1 straight fairway, 1 very overstable fairway, 1 flippy fairway, 1 controllable slightly understable mid, 1 straight to overstable mid, 1 overstable approach and 1 straight putter. And you should be leaning on 5-6 discs a large majority of the round
