@mrmbb333: The Ross Fire was sitting near 50,000 acres Tuesday. Now it’s around 80,000 acres with only 12% containment. That means roughly 30,000 additional acres burned in about 24 hours as the fire spread across Palo Pinto and Jack counties. More than 1,000 people have been evacuated during the fire, structures have been destroyed and the historic Worth Ranch Scout camp suffered extensive damage. The fire is also cutting through ranch country, impacting farms, livestock operations and thousands of acres of grazing land across North Texas.
