Guys the point of a stock buyback is to increase the price / value of the stock to remaining shareholders, it is a tax-efficient alternative to issuing a dividend. Also it helps execs hit stock price based bonuses or earnings per share bonuses. Callaway as a company is agnostic to their stock price with regards to buybacks, and in all other cases would prefer a higher stock price. No one benefits from lower share prices so there’s no conspiracy here.
