We’re a blue DTC beef ranch in Oklahoma. I am fighting to accept EBT not to make money but because even people who are food insecure deserve fresh and local meat. We donate beef to local food kitchens regularly because food is political and people deserve to eat. I hate people with that mentality about EBT

In my area there are 2 blue ranchers. Well, should say were 2. They both stopped taking all orders because they have run out of product. They even canceled their pending corporate sales to fullfill private sales, and sold out of everything. They literally have nothing left to sell.

Farmers markets DO take ebt. Here in rural NC, you can use an ebt card to buy tokens to spend at the farmers markets.
