Morocco in November 🌵🇲🇦🏜️ GUIDE below! Taghazout - My favourite short haul destination of all time ☀️🏄‍♀️ Where to stay; •Airbnb is definitely the best option - book in advance as the beachfront ones get booked up quite quickly •Hostels (there’s lots) ; - Amayour surf hostel - Locals Taghazout surf camp - The Surf Hostel •Hotels; L’auberge £ Mungas Guesthouse £££ Dfrost Almugar Hotel £££ Amouage Hotel £££ These boutique hotels are all beaut, located right in the village •If you want all inclusive/ 5* larger hotels then there are a few a 5 minute drive from central Taghazout just down the coast (Hilton, Hyatt Regency & Raddison Blu) Restaurants/ Bars; - Windy Bay Cafe (breakfast, lunch & dinner on the beach but no alcohol) - Dfrost hotel restaurant (alcohol) this is my favourite for drinks & food. Happy hour 4-7pm Monday to Thursday and a good sunset spot - Dfrost Berbere bar (alcohol) - good spot for drinks overlooking the sea from 4pm - Amouage hotel restaurant (alcohol). Group dinners and also normal dinner reservations, good at sunset and also in the day to chill by the pool - World of waves cafe (breakfast, lunch & dinner on the beach & serves alcohol) - Surf Berbere (lunch/dinner spot no alcohol) - Dar Josephine (dinner restaurant but no alcohol, inside only , nice traditional food) - Mungas bar (alcohol) La Favela terrace for sunset / nice restaurant and bar downstairs in the evenings. Mungas is the only place really to be lively at night. - Teapot cafe - great for breakfast - Sozi Cookie - the best cookies in the world Pool day options: - DFrost (alcohol) Happy Hour 4-7pm Monday - Thursday - Amouage at Surf Maroc (alcohol) 400 DH pp day pass. Happy hour 3:30-5pm except Sundays. - The Hyatt hotel down the road from the town have a day pass option for around £40. It’s so affordable, the locals are the loveliest people and such an amazing destination for some winter sunshine 🌞 As purchasing alcohol isn’t that easy here I’ve highlighted above where you can get a drink. Top tips; - Take lots of cash out as a lot of places are cash only - Taxi to/ from Agadir Airport is around £30 (300-400MAD) I would pre organise this with your accommodation - Make sure to buy alcohol from duty free (they don’t sell it in the shops here) you can only buy drinks in a few restaurants/ hotels, but drinks are closer to UK prices. Hence why Airbnb is the best option as you can drink in your own space - The Street food is really good & you can join in with surf hostels group dinners / BBQ’s if you’re here for a longer period of time . Would recommend Amayour for group surf trips & dinners if you’re a solo traveller #morocco #guide #wintersun #travel #taghazout #traveltips
