I understand it’s a space thing. But if yall would lower the costs to adopt animals yall would def have a higher turnover rate. I’m sorry but not many people want to pay 250+ to adopt a sometimes older animal with issues. Help people help yall. That’s all I’m saying. While I understand yall have costs and bills to pay it’s also your downfall.

I’m so tired of the “kill shelters are evil and they need to figure something else out” attitude. What would you like them to do? If all the kennels are full, they get halved off. When that’s full, admin offices get dogs. When that’s full, dogs get put in crates along hallways. When that’s full there is no other option. There’s no where for these dogs to go. And the more crammed it gets, the more dangerous it gets. Euthanasia for space is a terrible situation, no one is arguing against that. Shelter workers and volunteers of course hate to see it happen. But they can’t magically create more space in their building. They can’t get donations out of thin air. All they can do is take the dogs in, so their best, and hope that the public sees that this is the reality we’ve gotten to because everyone and their mom wants to breed dogs. I hope it does make people uncomfortable because it’s all humans fault. Maybe after seeing how these shelters operate, people will think twice about breeding or buying poorly bred/ mixed breed puppies

If somebody doesn’t come pick him up, how about taking him to a shelter that won’t fucccking kill him. All animal shelters should be no kill. It’s ridiculous that we have animal shelters for these animals to go to, to be safe just to kill them. It’s ridiculous.
