@origrhk111: RE: US Finance Company Goldman Sachs lowered its Prediction of the Philippines’ Economic Growth for this Year of 2026 to just 3.3% Another major International Financial Institution downgrades their Prediction of the Growth of the Philippine Economy this Year of 2026, and this time it is the American Company "Goldman Sachs Group Incorporated", one of the biggest and most recognized Financial Firms in the World. Because of the lower than expected Gross Domestic Product (GDP) Growth in the last two Quarters, Goldman Sachs has revised its prediction of the Philippines GDP Growth for the entire Year from the already low 3.5% to an even lower 3.3%, only half of the initial Target of 6% set by the Philippine Government last Year of 2025. The Philippine Economy only grew by 2.8% in the first Quarter of this Year which was then followed by an even lower 2.3% in the second Quarter. Sachs said that their revised Prediction was due to lower Consumer Demand because of high Inflation and lower Remittances from Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW). Sachs also noted how the 2.3% GDP Growth was even lower than their lowest Prediction of 2.7%. This low GDP Growth is happening now even without a Worldwide Pandemic like what happened during the last three Years of the Administration of former President Rodrigo Duterte.
