@cashhklein: spendable cash (2) when I look at images of bears alone in the wilderness or sat alone admiring a view I imagine myself as that bear. not because I’d say im particularly interested in nature, or because I see my own qualities or indifferences inside different animals, but because despite aggressive attitude and my pent up anger I can still find momentary peace amongst simple things. for example if I wake up in a morning and the sky is peculiar shade of blue, one you might not usually see, or perhaps the cloud pattern is strangely beautiful then I will find myself admiring the scene. I wont even realize i’m doing it, i’ll just be there staring, mouth ajar, eyes wide open. if anyone were to ask me what animal I wished to be, i’d probably say a species of bird so then i’d have wings and be able to move as freely as I want and admire the world from hundreds of feet up all the time. but if you gave me enough time, or let me really think about it - i’d want to be that same bear, alone in a field staring at a mountain long away in the horizon. - Cash F.
