I'm am autistic, late diagnosed, high functioning, whatever ... the point is that I've been compared to him repeatedly in my life. there was no laugh track, love studio audience to tell me when I hurt someone (and I know I did, just to prove a point sometimes, like he did). but for those of us who identify a little too much to Dr. Sheldon Cooper, I wish you grace for the times, the moments when nobody else sees that we deeply, deeply care, we just are befuddled in knowing how to express it. (the slap over winning the Nobel Prize .... chef's kiss!)
