I really hate how people are blaming you. Do they not realize that it could have been kids getting attacked by a dog coming onto your property??? The rabbits are the victim and it is nowhere near your fault for putting them in a safe enclosure to enjoy some outside time.

Dogs have natural prey drives,you shouldn’t keep bunnies outside anyways due to other prey animals ,either way ur cage wasn’t equipped enough to protective enough for the bunnies and it would’ve happened either way with a dog or another prey animals.

Sometimes dogs run away, although that would never ideally happen with responsible ownership; people make mistakes, and shit does happen. It's weird to call someone a bad owner for their dog escaping and doing what dogs do. I'm sorry for your losses, I am, but what you're saying is very odd.

Why would you keep bunnies outside to begin with not only dogs buy coyotes hawks raccoons etc the list goes on so many reasons why that is unsafe not to mention pesticides heat humidity etc

i dont enjoy the way people blame the dog for things like this, he is an animal, its in his nature, my dogs dont even chase birds or anything small, this is simply bad training and not the dogs fault

I live in the city but ik I got 1 that’s very aggressive to other animals n 1 that escapes my yard every chance she gets. So letting mine outside a line is not an option. Ik in the country they think its ok to allow dogs to roam free but if ur dogs not a lgd they will kill livestock n thats not exceptable
