I wouldn't call it confidence, I'd call it insecurity, that's all they are. I miss wearing a hat to work every, I leave the house get into my car drive an hour, get to work & go into office but I will wear a hat to any event I go to especially in the summer. When I lived in the UK I work in a hat shop (Successories) in Cirencester (90-91) & bought a load of hats which I still have today.
