@sarahcordiner: How to Grow Your Business Without Paying for Ads Here's a question every business owner should ask themselves: How can I get in front of more of my ideal customers... without spending thousands on advertising? For many new businesses... The answer isn't Facebook Ads. Or Google Ads. It's organic marketing. Because before you spend money buying attention... Learn how to earn it. Here's what I recommend. 1️⃣ Don't Rush Into Paid Ads I'm not against paid advertising. Far from it. But if you're just starting out... Ads can become a very expensive experiment. Before you scale with paid traffic, make sure you've got: ✔️ A proven offer. ✔️ A clear customer journey. ✔️ Follow-up systems. ✔️ The capacity to handle new customers. Organic marketing gives you the chance to build all of that with far less financial risk. 2️⃣ Borrow Existing Audiences One of my favourite growth strategies is this: Instead of trying to build an audience from scratch... Find audiences that already exist. There are networking groups... Business communities... Industry associations... Memberships... Events... And organisations full of your ideal customers. Someone else has already done the hard work of gathering those people together. Why not serve them? 3️⃣ Speak for Free to Build Authority This surprises a lot of people. Yes... I happily speak for free. Why? Because one hour of teaching can introduce you to hundreds of potential customers. The organisers promote you to their email list. They share you across their social media. They invite their community. You simply turn up and provide value. That's incredible leverage. 4️⃣ Teach. Don't Pitch. When you get in front of an audience... Don't spend 45 minutes talking about yourself. Teach them something useful. Give them practical strategies they can implement immediately. Help them solve a real problem. By the end of your presentation... People won't be thinking: "I've just been sold to." They'll be thinking: "I need this person to help me." That's a very different buying experience. 5️⃣ Always End With One Clear Next Step Don't leave people wondering what to do next. Give them one simple action. Book a strategy call. Download your free guide. Start a free trial. Join your workshop. I love finishing with a simple QR code on my final slide. People scan it while they're excited... And suddenly you've turned someone else's audience into your own growing community. That's the power of organic marketing. You don't always need a bigger advertising budget. Sometimes... You simply need to get in front of the right people and give them a reason to remember you.
