They should be fed on demand. 3 hour interval is the minimum amount which makes it 8 times every 24 hours. My 3 month old was like that too and he feeds like it's his last.

mommies please help, my 3 weeks old son has this tendency of fighting my breast after maybe 20 to 30 minutes of sucking. He screams the moment its not in his mouth but when i put it back he cries too. My milk is overflowing, he latches perfectly and i even hear him when he sucks and gulps but this new tendency is making us fight quite a lot. what could it be? NB, he does get full and mostly does this when he's too sleepy and sometimes at night. how should i stop it? he started it at 2 weeks. Please help, im a ftm
