@kompascom: Tim penyelamat menggunakan helikopter untuk mengevakuasi warga yang terjebak di sebuah bangunan setelah banjir bandang menerjang Nepal, Kamis (27/08/2026) pagi. Lebih dari 100 orang berhasil diselamatkan melalui operasi udara, termasuk delapan warga negara asing yang dievakuasi ke Kathmandu. Banjir yang dipicu runtuhnya gletser itu menerjang Nuwakot dan Rasuwa, menghancurkan jalan serta menimbun bangunan dan kendaraan dengan lumpur. NASHVILLE TENNESSEE 🎵 🤠 🇺🇸 Overall Nashville was absolutely incredible. The people are the friendliest and most accommodating people I’ve ever met! We were making pals in every bar we went into. Here are the highlights: BROADWAY – 8/10 The tourist strip! There’s so many bars all with live music, and they almost all have rooftops. You can drop in and drop out as you please. EDLEY’S BAR-B-QUE – 9/10 This was recommended by everyone we spoke to. Didn’t disappoint. Good value, typical American joint! GRAND OLE OPRY – 10/10 One of the barman was telling us this wasn’t worth going to! He was VERY wrong. The music in the bars is a mix of country and rock, but the greatest country music experience will be at the Grand Ole Opry. There’s 6 shows a week! HATTIE B’S HOT CHICKEN – 7/10 Probably the most famous food place in Nashville! The fried chicken there is so much better than anything you’ll get in the UK. It’s good value, but watch out, even medium is pretty hot 🥵 THE RYMAN TOUR – 4/10 Recommended by a few people, and it was fairly interesting. But if you miss it, don’t worry about it! FOLK – 9/10 Out in the suburbs, I loved walking through the neighbourhood. Great food, good service! Most of the food in downtown Nashville is fast food, so head here if you want a proper restaurant. MUSIC ROW – 9/10 Someone told me that before the pandemic this was the ‘Broadway’. It’s where Taylor Swift started singing when she moved to Nashville to kick off her career! VELVET TACO – 7/10 Our uber driver took us here, and came and had dinner with us! She was excited by the $5 margaritas 🤣 THE PARTHENON – 6/10 So random! But kind of cool to see a full sized replica, especially if you’ve seen the ruins in Athens! PRINCES HOT CHICKEN – 7/10 Hattie b’s but without the queues! MAKING YOUR DEBUT ON BROADWAY – 10/10 You can make song requests, and I made it my mission to get a band to sing Angels by Robbie Williams! Finally someone agreed - and they did give it a good go! But I had to step in… with my absolutely terrible singing voice! 🤣 GLOCKSTORE SHOOT 270 – 8/10 I was advised not to add a clip of me shooting an A K 47… but when in Rome! We had a super safe shooting lesson in a private range. Booked it last minute and it wasn’t too expensive!
