The tightening of the cable tie is putting tension on it that you’re not measuring. They’re probably snapping under the same amount of tension. You’re just measuring the tension added to what you already put on it while tightening it.

You “loose” some kg by tightening. So tester doesn’t add it

I would suggest to make sure the lock sits over the top instead of on the side when tightened, on the loose ones it was always on the top.

the science behind this is interesting... because the over tightened zip tie is already stretched unlike the normally tightened zip tie, it's already using its strength to hold the 2 pieces.

its not about holding, its about keeping the cable in place without damaging the cable

you're correct. When the cable is already too tightened, the tensile strength of the cable is already being tested by the structure its binding, whereas when it's loose, the amount of room it's allowed to expand (structurally) is at its maximum.
