Personally I think this social experiment is a good example of no matter how good or genuine your intentions are... you cannot predict how someone will respond. Likewise, you shouldn't try to monitor their reaction or be offended if it doesn't pan out the way you've expected. Like they literally owe you nothing, it's really not that personal. How many times have us girls used that line on men when they tried to compliment us, regardless of our relationship status? It's basically a polite way of saying "go away, you're making me uncomfortable. p.s. I don't think this should put you off complimenting strangers in future, I just don't agreed with it being filmed but kudos to you for not showing her face. 👌
