I didn’t have a clue what I was doing when I started. I wasn’t an influencer. I didn’t have a business. I had no experience making money online. I was simply a mum who couldn’t accept that going back to work full-time was the only way to make ends meet. Because I didn’t want to spend five days a week away from my little boy just to afford the life we wanted. I wanted to earn more. But I also wanted the mornings. The bedtime stories. The random Wednesday afternoons. The little moments I knew I’d never get back. So, while I’m on maternity leave, I have started learning about digital marketing and how people were creating income online. Im building it around motherhood. Nap times. Evenings after bedtime. Those random 20-minute windows when I actually had both hands free. 😂 And slowly, it started becoming something real. Fast forward to now... ✨ I’ve made a sale in the first week of learning ✨ I’ve got the option to return to work part-time instead of full-time ✨ It’s going to help towards our family holidays and our wedding ✨ And most importantly, I get more time with my Son and Family 🫶🏼 I create and sell digital products — things like templates, planners and guides that people can buy and download online. No stock. No packing orders. Just something I can build around my actual life. And honestly, I wish more mums knew this was an option. If you’re on maternity leave worrying about what happens when the money runs out... Or you’re already back at work wishing you had more time with your children... I want you to know that working everyday at a 9–5 doesn’t have to be your only option. I spent so long watching other women online doing this and thinking: “That could never be me.” Turns out... it could.
