Growing up in Kibera, he started by altering and reselling thrift clothes before making KES 5,000 suits. Today, he runs @ashok_sunny_bespoke serving CEOs, ambassadors and high-net-worth clients through luxury bespoke tailoring. Formalising the business, understanding its real costs, changing how he priced his work and eventually moving into the high-end market transformed the way he saw the business.
