@blackskullsreaper: Firecracker Pop Rocks Candied Strawberries ingredients 1 lb Driscoll's fresh strawberries (stems attached) 2 cups Domino granulated sugar 1/2 cup light corn syrup 3 (0.33 oz) packets Pop Rocks (Blue Razz and Strawberry) instructions 1. Wash and thoroughly dry the strawberries; mix the blue and red Pop Rocks together in a small shallow bowl. 2. In a saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, and 1/2 cup water. Boil without stirring until a candy thermometer reads 300°F (hard crack stage). 3. Remove from heat immediately. Holding the stem, carefully dip each strawberry into the clear hot sugar syrup. 4. While the sugar coating is still hot and sticky, quickly roll the tip of the strawberry in the mixed red and blue Pop Rocks. 5. Set the candied strawberries on parchment paper to cool into a crunchy, popping, red-white-and-blue candy shell.
