Wore the old one for years, Estée Lauder new one is a disastrous, changes colour shiny, doesn’t stay put all day! Lost my loyalty! Have just purchased Benefits new foundation so like the old double wear I’m delighted, a must have if you want the same texture and staying power, I highly recommend it.

OG DW has been my go to foundation for about 15 years and I absolutely hate the new formula!! you need about 4x as much product to get half the coverage compared to the OG. it's so greasy, sits in all my fine lines and made me breakout while wearing it because of all the unnecessary skincare. I've tried other brands but can't find anything I like as much. Genuinely hate my makeup now without it 😭

Used ELDW for around 11 years no problem. Since changing the formula I am now allergic to it. The underneath of my eyes swell up and the skin for the following days is dry and chemically burnt.

the old one was perfect. used it for many years. I think I also have an allergy to the new formula. itchy on my face. can't find another alternative

Hate it. Sticky and shiny. However I still use it because no other gives the same coverage. But now I have to add powder and I hate that.

Hate it sticky orange and hardly any coverage really thin nearly poured the whole bottle out worst foundation moved over to Too Faced not as good but the only foundation that is better

I like the new one I’ve had to go a shade lighter though. Only down side is I now need to really set it which I never did before. Nothing compares to the OG though xx

It’s terrible but finding an alternative has been soo difficult. So far I’ve found mixing the new formula with a small amount of the camouflage Estée Lauder foundation gives me the coverage and finish that the old did. Only thing is the camouflage foundation contains the same ingredient they aren’t allowed to use any more so I think it’ll be discontinued. A little does go a long way though 👌

I think most of us that are OG DW don’t like the new version! Unfortunately I’m actually allergic to it. Makes me itch really bad. I have tested YSL all hours matte and Chanel ultrawear they are the two that seems okay on me. But not a patch on the OG. I have three back ups of the OG so I’m still using it up and every day I keep thinking why on earth have you had to change! 😢. Hopefully they listen to us all and make some changes to the new version.

Used it for 21 years. New formula changes colour. Is stick and makes me look so oily. Changed to NARS matte. So far so good.

Hate the new formula tried the double camouflage which is dreadful it’s like cement. Just switched to Lancôme which so far is really good x
