If someone has hurt you and you find yourself thinking, “I don't want to hate them, but I can't stop feeling hurt,” this dua is beautiful to repeat. You're essentially asking Allah: > “Ya Allah, don't let what people did to me turn my heart into something I don't want it to become.” You can also make the dua in your own words after it: “Ya Allah, heal my heart, remove resentment from it, forgive those who have wronged me, and protect me from being wronged again.” And remember: having a wounded heart isn't the same as having a bad heart.
