I think theres a lot more nuance to this than that people who use ai voices are bad. there are some variables to include here. like for example, not everyone can or wants to voice act for their project. maybe they dont want to share their voice online, maybe the role of the character just doesnt fit them. not everyone has the money to afford voice actors. also, the definition of ai voices here is a bit all encompassing. what about a game using only vocal synths like synthv, vocaloid 6 ai, voisona or diffsinger as a stylistic choice? what about for example using kasane teto for a tsundere character where the voice fits? what about using ethical tts ai models like voisona talk, voicepeak, or even rvc models that the voice provider has consented to?
