My take on this matter - I sometimes wonder if what we are witnessing today is not really polygamy in the spirit that Islam intended, but rather some men using the concept of polygamy as a halal loophole for what is essentially a pattern of chasing women. Polygamy in Islam comes with responsibility, accountability, justice, financial obligations, emotional responsibility, and—most importantly—fear of Allah. It was never presented as a free pass for a man to continually pursue new women simply because marriage makes the relationship technically halal.

definitely men are the problem nowadays, they want the woman to do everything the way their moms or grandma's lived during their marriage, and they don't want to take any responsibility, even though their moms and Grandmas used to have help from the family. this generation of married couples is the woman who has to do and endure everything+ the husband who acts like a big baby. We need to fix this behavior with our children and teach them otherwise, otherwise there will be no marriages anymore.
