It hurts when people misunderstand something and claim they know best. The truth is, whether you like it or not, life challenges are inevitable. We only pray for the grace not to be overwhelmed by them. That vow is simply an assurance to your partner that no matter what life brings along this journey, you will be there with him/ her both in good days and in bad days... so it doesn't mean you are wishing for bad days.

Even in my father's house, I have my worse moment, so what make you think there won't be worse moment, it's either we accept the reality or leave it, prayers won't stop one from experiencing difficulty in life, all we need is the grace to overcome those moments.. nobody can deceive me that there won't be worse moment in marriage, it's either you prepare for it and see God helping you or the other way round... marriages don't last again because we all signed for " for better for better" and so when the worse come, you run out of the marriage because that wasn't what you signed for ... may God help us, don't let anyone deceive into believing everything will be better, accept the reality and ask God for help in those worse moment.. I pray our worse moment is marriage will not superceed our better moment 🙏🙏
