40k is not bad depending on the foundation type. Eg. a two bedroom house i did at weija I charged the client 50,000 and he paid. This is the breakdown each 3 course theres beam and after the foundation block wrk, we plastered and did bitumen treatment.

Some people can exaggerate too much, even my whole 4 bedroom house from foundation to when it was ready for roofing, he charged only 25,000 cedis.
