The main ingredient for disagreement and separation is only carrying about your point of view.. People have nothing against the boy, a matter of fact we are proud and happy for him.. The issue comes from other heroes not being recognized or celebrated. Doctors, nurses, firefighters etc....

Heroes’ Day is meant to remember the bloodshed and sacrifices made for our freedom. Saving someone is brave and humane, and it deserves recognition.but shouldn’t that be a civic medal? What about paramedics, firefighters, and others who save lives every day? The liberation struggle was a choice to sacrifice for an entire nation. We should respect that difference.

I am not trying to justify your point, neither saying that you are wrong to do what you're doing but are you trying to say those that are comparing are wrong, or what are you trying to say? We are happy, but seriously how many lives did that tate saved, and how many bodies he recovered and families have buried their loved ones instead of mourning in vane. I am not saying people are right to say because of him being white, but him being white, black or pink, he deserves the same recognition just like any others that do good in this country. So please let others too express their rights. It's their freedom of expression just as you are doing it.
