During our time, there was a clear rule that protests had to be made immediately after the round in which the alleged issue occurred. In other words, if a school believed they had been unfairly treated or cheated during the first round, they were required to raise their protest after the first round. Once the second round had commenced, they could no longer bring forward a protest concerning the first round. Therefore, it would be inappropriate for a school to wait until the third round before claiming that they were cheated in the first round. By then, the opportunity to raise that particular protest would have already passed. That was the procedure we followed, and I believe it was put in place to ensure fairness, consistency, and proper administration of the competition. For that reason, I think Prime Time should revisit and clarify this rule to ensure that the same standard is being applied.
