@kayleyxchai: Lesson 1 I’m learning before turning 30: understanding where I came from without letting it decide where I’m going 🚶‍♀️ I’ve been thinking a lot about how easy it is to explain the way we are by looking at where we came from. “I’m like this because I was raised this way.” “I’ve always been this way.” “That’s just how I am.” And sometimes, those things are true. Our experiences shape us in ways we don’t even realise. But I think growing up is also realising that we get to decide what happens next.
