records of people who immigrated them may be interesting, numbers, regions, denials. my great grandma came on a boat from Norway in the late 1800's at 16 through Ellis, then went to a worlds fair, my grandma gave me an ashtray from it. then she took a train to the plains and married into my father's Norwegian Lakota line. They had to hide that they had even a drop of native blood or they couldn't homestead and they had a dozen kids that all managed the homestead act as well on the land my Lakota bloodline would use in the summer. it was a small tribe that disappeared into Lake of the Woods after the Dakota wars. Chief and braves, the women were of my father's line. I long to know more. A'ho. I have to remove this. ty for all you do. 💕✨✨
