30 years ago we had youth clubs in every community. I ran 2, 4 nights a week, 20-30 young people 8-18yrs. Youth workers would walk streets at night to engage with young people, build engagement and bring them into more positive activities, address issues they faced or raised. Gov needs to Invest in proper grass roots youth work
