📧 **TO ADOPT:** [Acsadoption@sanantonio.gov](mailto:Acsadoption@sanantonio.gov) 🐾 **MEET THUNDERBOLT (A830051)** 🐾 Thunderbolt has been waiting 10 days at San Antonio Animal Care Services. This 2-year-old boy urgently needs an approved rescue partner, foster, or adopter by **October 21, 2026**, or he may be euthanized due to shelter overcrowding. 😭 🖤🤍 **GET TO KNOW THUNDERBOLT** 🐶 2 years old | Male 🐾 Large black-and-white American Staffordshire Terrier 📍 ACS Campus, Building 3, Kennel 3010 ❤️ **A SHY BOY WHO NEEDS SOMEONE TO BELIEVE IN HIM** Thunderbolt can be nervous when meeting new people, but his evaluation shows that he can begin to relax with patience. After being leashed, he slowly approached with a wagging tail and lowered head, allowed brief handling, and showed a wiggly body while whining for attention as the handler left. He needs someone willing to give him time, kindness, and a chance to feel safe. He may take a little longer to trust, but he deserves the opportunity to show his affectionate side. ❤️ 🙏 **CAN YOU BE THE PERSON WHO SAVES THUNDERBOLT?** 🏡 Foster him and give him a safe place to decompress. ❤️ Adopt him and offer him a loving home. 📣 Share his story so the right person can find him! 🌎 **OUT-OF-STATE ADOPTION MAY BE POSSIBLE!** Rescue Paws Saving Paws may be able to help explore out-of-state adoption options. Please reach out to confirm arrangements if you live outside Texas. 📍 San Antonio Animal Care Services 4710 State Highway](/video/cover/7698941480135593229.webp)
