Abby’s Bites :
Ingredients 3 cups flour 4 tablespoons butter 1 teaspoon baking powder 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon nutmeg ½ cup water Oil, for frying Method In a bowl, add the flour, nutmeg, baking powder and salt. Mix well to combine. Add the butter and mix thoroughly until well incorporated. Gradually add the water a little at a time, mixing until a soft dough forms. The dough should be soft but not too wet or sticky. Knead the dough briefly, then wrap it in cling film and let it rest for 40 minutes. After 40 minutes, roll the dough out as thinly as possible. Cut the dough into very thin slices. Lightly sprinkle the sliced dough with a little flour to prevent the pieces from sticking together. Heat the oil over medium heat and fry the chips in batches until golden brown and crispy. Remove from the oil and drain on kitchen paper.
