No matter how many or how serious the sins are, Allah forgives the one who sincerely repents and turns back to Him. He specifically warns against understanding: إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ جَمِيعًا as meaning “Allah forgives sins regardless of repentance.” Rather, Ibn Kathir explains that the verse is about forgiveness through tawbah.
