I was 10yo. It was cold out in Florida when Florida had actually cold weather. I was in jeans, long sleeve shirt, and big jacket. Our neighbors little sister left her toys at our house, so I asked my mom if I could take them back, she said yes. The neighbors that lived there were actually gone. They had a friend of their family who stayed. I knocked on the door and his girlfriend answered the door and let me in. I was in the hallway to the kitchen, she walked to the living room. I walked to the table in hallway and put down the toys, turned to walk out. As I did the boyfriend grabbed my hair and slammed my head into the wall knocking me out. I have no idea how long I was out. I came to and my jeans were around my ankle and I had blood dripping down my leg. I put my jeans back on and ran home. I avoided my mom in fear I'd get in trouble for the blood. (mind you gRape was never spoke of back then, so I didn't know that's what it was at the time). I went straight to the bathroom and took a shower sobbing because I hurt so bad. Never spoke of it until my parents took me to a psychiatrist at 16 because of my "behavior " problems. I was an angry person for a long time. My mom still to this day refuses to believe it happened. So I made right choice to avoid her back then.🤷♀️

my baby was 12...her abuser was her own father...at his place of work...we had already divorced...it was his weekend..i had to stop my son who was 10 at the time from hurting him because i knew my ex husband always carried a weapon..she told me in the front seat of my car and my son gripped the seat so hard he left permanent marks..6 years later and that boy still looks for him and has already told me its on sight...he admitted to what he did to me. ill never forget the only reason I didnt end him that day was because my 3 kids were behind me. I saw red for no less than 10 seconds...then I ran...I ran for my babies. im raising a son who will protect you and protects his sisters everyday.

I was 11 kept it to myself until I was 16 my mom asked me what I did wrong and my dad told me I was Lier I was 11 I needed help and instead of help I was blamed I’m 30 now and my they both still blame me and protected the man who took so much away from me lady’s it was never our fault we are not the ones to blame we had a part taken away from us and we survived it yall are strong and I am proud of every single one of yall lady’s

Idk exactly what is meant by sexual abuse here but I think just sexual harassment in general it would 100% of women have experienced it at some point in their life. You will never escape it.
