First consider the original language, historical period, culture, genre, and context. Then many supposed contradictions disappear. And don’t forget this: depending on the counting method, more than 100 to over 300 prophetic references and foreshadowings from the Old Testament are connected to Christ in the New Testament

we can definitely use critical thinking, logic, reason, literary genre, cultural context, historical context, who the words are written for/to, the meanings of the ancient Greek and Hebrew words, and many other factors to confront these contradictions in an intellectually honest fashion but given how majority of atheists often quit after having pointed out their unsubstanciated conclusions, assumptions or straight up denial usually leads to insults and name calling from their side... usually not worth the conversation...

If you read the Bible with direct words of Christ as your ultimate lens, all apparent "contradictions" vanish-but that requires a search for truth, not a hunt for a 'gotcha' moment. So the Bible acts exactly like a mirror: a pure heart reflects clear consistent divine wisdom, while a hypocritical mind only sees a reflection of its own confusions and evil intent.

it depends from which POV. If view Van Gogh painting close up you can see issues and contra dictions. But if you stand back and look the painting is stunning without error etc.

It’s interesting that you know with absolute certainty that it’s laughable, yet the entire premise of the Bible (or more specifically the Torah, since everything else is expressly written by man without uncertainty) is that it’s given divinely. Not divinely inspired (that would be the prophets and writings), given. Your academic view can conjecture that it’s written by someone or some group, but suggesting mockingly that the faith and belief of possibly billions of people means they can’t be taken seriously…you may want to revisit your claims. And your entire approach.

When there’s no approach to how can your spirit grow through the verses, the Bible seems contradictory. However, if you simply read the passages with the understanding of who it’s written to and the time it’s written, you completely understand it from another perspective. I have no theology degree, I don’t really have any eduction, but it’s the only book i can confidently say, checks out once I seek to find the answers, rather than just reading it like any other book. And we’re literally living in what revelations was revealing. The truth is, Jesus is coming back and every knee will bow.
