also the timing of it too, like in the re4 remake monologue he ends it with “this time it can be different” and at that moment it showed ada in his memory, so it’s almost like a way of telling us that ada can (and will) change fundamentally as a person, her motives etc. change plays a huge role throughout re4 remake
