The Jr Sailor Breton, my go-to easy kids pattern. It is workes top down with a buttoned neckline and raglan sleeves. The looser gauge on thin yarn means this is a great layering piece that can be worn both indoors and outdoors, and you can worry less about the youngest ones being too warm. I find myself mostly reaching for thinner knits for my boys! The red one is knit in Athena 'Briar' and 'Goldthorn', and the blue one in 'Vålerenga' with stripes of 'Bellevue', 'Soria Moria', 'Deichman' and 'Frogner'.
