This video has taught me something important about expectations. When you expect nothing, almost anything can impress you. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of expecting something from this. From the opening seconds, I patiently waited for the situation to develop into something that would justify the amount of time I had already invested. It never happened. By the end, I wasn’t laughing, I wasn’t angry, and I wasn’t confused. I was simply sitting there like someone who had travelled to another country only to discover that the country was closed. I genuinely don’t know what I just watched. I went into this expecting a beginning, a middle, and eventually, some form of conclusion. Unfortunately, the beginning happened, the middle happened for an unnecessarily long period of time, and the conclusion appears to have been absent from the entire production. At some point, I stopped trying to understand what was happening and started questioning why I was still watching. Even now, I cannot confidently say whether the video was supposed to be funny, confusing, or simply an elaborate experiment to determine how long a person can remain seated while nothing happens. Whatever the intention was, I believe the experiment was successful. After watching this several times, I have reached the unfortunate conclusion that the problem is not that I failed to understand the joke. The problem is that there may not have been a joke to understand in the first place. I kept waiting for the moment where everything would suddenly make sense, but that moment seems to have been delayed indefinitely. There were several opportunities for idea, content and comedy, but each one was observed entering the situation and immediately leaving without contributing anything meaningful. I respect the confidence required to create something this long without once questioning whether it was actually funny. Thanks for the time you’ve wasted so far 😂🙏
