Be careful running out mid-sleep!!! I changed mine out and went to bed one day 2 weeks ago and I woke up at 5am vomiting and in DKA. Spent two days in ICU and 2 days in a regular room. It was TERRIBLE!!!

lol elementary school a new boy my 4th grade year came with hearing aids and i wanted to learn and help him in every way. and i did. i learned how to help change his batteries, switch them out, he’d come to me when they would die. then i moved and my new best friend has asthma and i was always rushing her to the office to get breathing treatments. or go get her inhaler at reeeces if she forgot it

My husband and daughter have Type 1. It is so important that the people around you know what they need to do in those times. When my husband and I were first together, his sugar went low and I was nervous and not thinking clearly. I gave him insulin. Thankfully, he was coherent enough to let me know I needed to get him a buttload of sugar, lol.

My daughter has the dexcom thing. She developed gestational diabetes( shes 24ish weeks pregnant) so she is monitoring and takes insulin before bed
