What he is saying is, just like flies we are. We will be killed by the “gods” (powerful, elite, governments) of this world. Once upon a time humankind started as a baby, aged and died, but soon science will figure this out and bring our aging cells to a state. And eveb then, humanity will be its own worst enemy. Only crimes, wars and accidents would be able to kill us at that point in time, and even then, crimes and wars will only multiply. As tragic as it sounds. He is insinuating that people have the power to stop all the cruelty and gruesomeness and enjoy where this world is willing to take us but then let’s us understand, humanity as we have known it to be, will fail to do that yet again. He closed with “I love football” to show humility. He is just a person like everyone else, who also loves something that gives him a purpose. Not a being above everyone else. PS:this is my thoughts on it guys, I stand to be corrected. I love football too❤️
